That is great. Emma's teachers think it is a really neat thing to do-although, have yet to do anything like it. Heck, their website still have last years info on it!
By the way, what are you pointing to on the Globe?
My favorite is that you leave their spelling! I don't have trouble reading most of them...is that bad?
Thanks! The picture is from last November. We were talking about Squanto, so I am pointing to the area around Providence, Rhode Island.
I do try to leave most of the spelling authentic, although if it gets to be on the unreadable side, I sometimes change it to at least follow standard phonemic conventions.
